Case studies of businesses that have benefited from automated business integration
Here is one case study – a business that we helped by fixing their integrated automation.
The problem
As a premier showroom in their area, this client gets a lot of traffic, both in-person and online. But a few months into using their new Infusionsoft platform, they noticed that a lot of their sales leads, those that showed interest in specific items, completely dropped off the radar when it came to follow-up email engagement and they never made a purchase. An enterprise-level Infusionsoft agency had built their opt-in campaigns and customized their automation for them, so they had to be working properly… right? Turns out that was not the case.
The Plan
We took a look at the customized automation set up by the other Infusionsoft agency and also all of the campaigns on the client’s website that leads could have possibly opted in to, and traced those leads’ email history back to see where and why the drop in engagement happened. Was there a specific email that triggered them to opt out or did they just stop opening the client’s emails in general? We needed to identify the issue to fix it.
The Result
During the discovery, we found that there was a serious flaw in the agency’s campaign that simply didn’t allow leads to flow through – everyone who filled out the opt-in form fell out of the campaign less than an hour after entering it. No one saw the interest-specific follow-up emails, so no one was inspired to buy. This was a huge issue!
We discovered 400+ leads that had been dropped out of the campaign due to faulty logic and lack of proper campaign setup, and each of these leads was worth at least a thousand dollars each. We pushed those leads back into the campaign. This allowed the gallery sales reps to follow up on the stagnant leads and recoup tens of thousands of dollars in potentially-lost revenue. Yet another example of why it is so important to have your customized automation set up properly.

What are some challenges of integrated automation?
One challenge of integrated automation is that it can be complex and time-consuming to implement. Automated systems also need to be regularly maintained and updated to keep up with changes in business processes. Another challenge is that automated integration can create dependencies on technology, which can make it difficult to change or discontinue the use of an automated system. All of these are challenges, however, in almost all cases the benefit outweighs the challenge.
Most companies don’t have the resources to set up their own business integration, and that is where Automize comes in. We can do this for you.
